Rheinmetall wins $710,000 U.S. order from Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace

Defense company Rheinmetall in the United States, American Rheinmetall, has received an order from Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace worth about $710,000. The companys plants in Michigan will manufacture machined components for MCT-30 turrets for the U.S. Marine Corps ACV-30 combat vehicle. Deliveries are scheduled for 2026 and 2027. 'The opportunity to support Kongsberg on the ACV-30 program reflects our growing partnership and strengthens American Rheinmetalls role as a supplier of high-quality components for critical U.S. military platforms. (Copy paste from Marketscreener) 30/07/2026 | Press release Contract worth several hundred million euros: Rheinmetall to modernise F123 frigate Key facts Rheinmetall modernises F123-class frigate for the German Navy Upgrade ensures operational capability until at least 2035 Rheinmetall's Wilhelmshaven site specializes in the modernization of this class of naval vessels Rheinmetall has been awarded the contract to modernise the 143-meter-long frigate BAYERN at the end of the second quarter of 2026. The objective of the project is to ensure the operational readiness of the German Navy frigate, which entered service in 1996, until at least 2035 while adapting its capabilities to current operational requirements. The contract is valued in the mid-three-digit million euro range. As part of the service life extension program key systems of the frigate will undergo comprehensive modernisation at Rheinmetall's Neue Jadewerft shipyard in Wilhelmshaven until 2029. The work includes the replacement of the Combat Management System (CMS), the overhaul of essential shipboard engineering systems, and the modernisation of the radar sensor suite. In addition, the propulsion and drive systems will be overhauled, while key anti-submarine warfare (ASW) capabilities will be upgraded. These measures will bring the F123-class frigate up to the latest technological standards and sustainably enhance its capabilities for future operations. The contract highlights the strategic importance of Rheinmetall's service business within the Naval Systems division. Long-term maintenance, modernization, and lifecycle support are integral elements of the division's portfolio, ensuring the operational readiness of complex naval systems over decades. "We are now fully focused on delivering the project on schedule. The Neue Jadewerft shipyard has many years of experience in the modernization and maintenance of naval vessels - particularly frigates - and possesses extensive expertise in integrating complex maritime systems. Bernstein Keeps Rheinmetall at 'Outperform', Target €1,900

(here’s an article other than the stuff everyone knows about the earnings report) NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) - US research house Bernstein Research has maintained its rating for Rheinmetall at "Outperform" with a price target of €1,900. The defense contractor's preliminary figures were above both his and market expectations, and by a wide margin, Adrien Rabier wrote in a quick take on Wednesday. Rheinmetall is now regaining trust. Combined with the unexpectedly strong numbers and a turnaround in the cycle of downward earnings revisions, this should provide meaningful support for the share price, especially in light of the current valuation.

It was only a matter of time for rheinmetall to start producing/selling and become more capable to produce their huge backlog and i do belive things will start improve even more. ✌️

Why did yous all buy this stock?

I'm just curious why people bought this stock. The pe ratio is extremely high on this stock and that's after it fell from 1900. What was people's thought process buying this stock? I don't know much about the stock. But for the vlaution of the stock, their profits must like 10x over the next few years?
