We have all learnt what happens when the pump starts to disappear
It’s going to touch the bottom again and go lower to 54, that’s the next support line.

Got sick of the JPM shorting....
So decided to open a big short and it psyched jpm and Jane Street out and price reversed almost immediately. You can all thank me later on 👍😂
The largest short positions in the silver market are almost permanently held by a group known as the "Commercials." These are the massive bullion banks that act as Swap Dealers and clearing members for the exchange.
JPMorgan Chase: The undisputed heavyweight of the silver market. JPMorgan acts as the custodian for the massive iShares Silver Trust (SLV) while simultaneously running the largest precious metals trading desk on the COMEX.
HSBC & Bank of America: Both institutions hold massive, concentrated short positions in silver futures.
Citigroup & Standard Chartered: Major clearing players providing liquidity and carrying large short books.
Why are they so heavily short?
In a strictly legal sense, bullion banks argue their massive short positions are "hedges." When a mining company wants to lock in a price for future production, or when an industrial user wants to hedge their costs, the bullion banks take the opposite side of the trade (going short). However, because the "Big Four" or "Big Eight" banks hold such an overwhelmingly large percentage of all short contracts, their sheer size acts as a structural ceiling on the price of silver.
2. The Shifting Longs: "The Non-Commercials" (Managed Money)
The long side of the paper market is heavily populated by Managed Money—hedge funds, Commodity Trading Advisors (CTAs), and algorithmic trading systems.
The Current Dynamic:
Trend-Followers (CTAs): These institutions do not care about physical silver fundamentals (like solar panel demand or vault deficits). They trade purely on momentum. Up until the recent peak, they were massively long. Now that silver has broken below its moving averages and cracked the $60 support floor, these algorithms have ruthlessly liquidated their longs and are actively adding short positions to ride the downward momentum.
Physical Custodians (BlackRock): Through the iShares Silver Trust (SLV), BlackRock represents one of the largest aggregators of long silver demand. However, SLV is a passive ETF; it does not dictate futures pricing, it merely attempts to track it.
Market manipulation in precious metals is not a conspiracy theory; it is a documented legal reality. Over the past decade, the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and the CFTC have handed out massive criminal fines to the exact bullion banks mentioned above for "spoofing."
How it works: Traders at major banks place massive, fake sell orders (iceberg orders) just above the current price. This creates the illusion of overwhelming supply, tricking high-frequency trading algorithms into selling. Once the price drops, the bank cancels the fake sell orders and buys the real silver at the newly suppressed, cheaper price.
The Precedent: JPMorgan was fined $920 million in 2020 for exactly this practice in the metals market. Deutsche Bank, Scotiabank, and Merrill Lynch have all paid tens of millions in spoofing settlements.
Mechanism B: Concentrated Shorting & "Stop Running"
Currently, the "Big Four" bullion banks hold a highly concentrated net short position. By coordinating massive dumps of paper silver contracts during highly illiquid times (such as overnight trading or right before key inflation data like tomorrow's PCE report), these banks can trigger a technical "waterfall."
When they dumped contracts and broke the $60.00 line this week, it intentionally triggered the automated "stop-loss" orders of retail and hedge fund longs.
This forces those longs to automatically sell at market price, accelerating the crash down.

Fed rate cuts
Cuts tomorrow would send silver flying. Have a feeling it’s getting pushed down before it goes flying again

Another fake out before dumping again
It could either hit 54 or 49. 49 is my lowest limit, 54 seems likely.

When silver had a 6% gain
Everyone said overbought!! When it dips 6%, it will keep free falling. I’ll say it again, it’s always quicker to drop than gain:
