Silver is currently testing another major support. If this breaks, the next one is at the 62.5-63 area (difficult to say where exactly). Then what looks like a stronger support at 62 after that. If it drops fast, I'll be watching those areas for a potential bounce-style retracement.

That was one hell of a rug pull! I'm not gonna lie, I had shorted a bit early into that one and was getting nervous. I got lucky with the massive rebound, but this must have caught out a lot of traders. For those wondering what happened - the US dollar was testing a big fat support. If it had broken metals would have gone flying. The market was buying into metals to pre-empt that possibility. However, instead of breaking, the dollar rebounded which caused this huge downswing.

Anyone else enjoying this choppy sideways movement? The hesitancy of the market means it's highly respecting supports and resistances, which make for easy trading. Right now the market is waiting on *CPI data* to be released on Thursday. This will decide the short-term movement until the Fed meeting next week (assuming there are no surprises in the news - you never can tell). Bouncing between the 65-67 area is likely until Thursday, potentially a little lower if the market gets pessimistic. The *Fed meeting is 15th-16th September*, during which time our mid-term direction is decided. If rate hikes are made (or even appear possible), metals will likely plunge. Otherwise, we have a good chance of going up. I say "likely" for all this because no one can predict with certainty. Anyone who does is telling you they haven't had enough experience in the market.

Best broker app by far

I’ve had an excellent experience with Trading 212. The app is exceptionally well designed, with a clean, intuitive UI that makes investing feel simple without compromising on functionality. I particularly love features like Pies, which make it incredibly easy to build and manage a diversified portfolio, as well as the clear and well-presented performance metrics. It’s easy to understand how your investments are performing at a glance, which is something many other platforms struggle to get right. The fees are also very competitive, making Trading 212 particularly attractive for long-term investors. The combination of low costs, excellent functionality, interests paid daily on uninvested cash and a genuinely user-friendly experience makes it the best investing platforms I’ve used. Overall, a fantastic app that keeps adding useful features while remaining incredibly easy to use. Highly recommended for both beginners and more experienced investors.

I love it

I love it, watching the interest being added every day, being able to take money out when short abd putting as much as you can in when ever you want. I find it good to help my self be careful with money. I tell everybody how good it is.

Good Shares ISA

Have used a zero fee competitor. Trading 212 beats them for speed of deposits and withdrawals. They also charge a lower fee for currency conversions. Transfer in of a cash ISA was efficiently handled. Make sure you use instant bank transfers, rather than cards or ApplePay for deposits. Cards work fine until you exceed a lifetime total deposit of £2000 (after which they have a 0.7% fee).

Great for nervous newbie investors

I have been very pleasantly surprised at the good selection of ETF’s and company shares available on this platform. Armed with a little information gleaned from you tube videos I found the site simple to navigate and the purchasing tools very easy and intuitive. I can place an instruction to sell or purchase at a particular price point which I really like. I can track prices on my own investments and also monitor other potential investments. My only regret is that I didn’t sign up sooner.

Fantastic investment platform

Fantastic platform for the passive investor or active stock picker. Low fees, easy to use app and plenty of account options. Would love to see Junior ISAs/Junior SIPPs at some point. I’ve been using Trading 212 for a couple of years now and would thoroughly recommend them!
