As of right now, the FTC has not issued a Second Request. The midnight deadline passed last night (Wednesday, June 3) with absolute silence from the antitrust regulators, meaning the standard 30-day HSR waiting period has officially expired. Ryan Cohen’s legal gamble paid off beautifully. By framing the transaction as a non-overlapping combination of a brick-and-mortar chain and a digital peer-to-peer tech marketplace, GameStop successfully avoided triggering the classic horizontal monopoly traps that would normally force a Second Request audit. The Trigger Is Pulled Because the HSR waiting period legally lapsed, the strict regulatory lock on GameStop's derivatives has vanished. Under the explicit terms of GameStop's SEC filings, the expiration of this waiting period automatically transforms their Put/Call pairs from "cash-settled only" into physically settleable in shares. Cohen now legally holds the golden ticket to demand the Wall Street counterparty banks deliver 33.4 million actual, voting shares of eBay straight to GameStop.

Whos excited?

I have to admit, the initial hype of buying eBay was exciting but after crunching the numbers, it was disheartening at first. Only after the more recent interviews of the actual plan was my fears put to rest. Its definitely a bold move and looks to be a hostile takeover now that the proposal has officially been declined by eBay. Whats everyones thoughts on the matter? I am bullish if RC can pull it off but he needs some serious firepower to do so. Are we an unknown Mike Tyson stepping into the ring for the first time... or are we facing Buster Douglas? Anyway.. my skin is in the game. 15150 shares. Game on.

Coincidence

So R kitty has been hacked. Same time there is low volume followed buy a spike. Same week RC wants to buy EBay and during all of this noise the Headphone stock Koss has been mirroring gme movement like it always did because there is a basket of stock that were shorted back in the day. It’s not a coincidence that it’s also spiking. Shorts never closed. We said back then when the time comes there would be noise everywhere! Rug pulls, noise, confusion and foul play. Anything to get us to sell or look in another direction. My question is where is R kitty? If it’s not him which it clearly isn’t and he isn’t coming out to say it isn’t him. What’s happened to him? What have they done to him?
