Question about fees

Hi guys. I just tried the crypto service here and I noticed the following: 1. When buying for 3.9842, my average became 3.988. This could be spread or something similar. 2. If I try to sell now my value of 5107 euro becomes 5054 euro. So basicaly we pay twice? T212 only mentions a spread and states there are no transacrion fees. So what am I looking at?

The world’s second-largest cryptocurrency is now 10 years old. Despite its price lagging behind Bitcoin's recent surge, Ethereum is attracting unprecedented institutional interest. The world's second-largest crypto is still below its 2021 high of ~$5k, but the flood of corporate and institutional money signals a major shift. New Corporate Players and Massive ETFs A new wave of companies, dubbed "Ethereum treasuries," are buying and staking Ether, earning 3-5% annually. Firms like SharpLink Gaming ($SBET) and Bit Digital ($BTBT) are leading this trend. Meanwhile, BlackRock's ($BLK) Ethereum ETF has become a massive success, reaching $10.7 billion in assets just a year after launch. This signals that institutions are looking to get into Ether in a big way. A Shift from NFTs to Real Assets The current bull run is moving away from the NFT mania of 2021. Instead, institutions are using Ethereum to tokenize traditional assets and issue digital dollars. BlackRock CEO Larry Fink envisions a future where "every financial asset" is tokenized. This vision is already taking shape, with companies like eToro ($ETOR) and Robinhood ($HOOD) announcing plans to launch tokenized versions of US stocks on the Ethereum network.

Best broker app by far

I’ve had an excellent experience with Trading 212. The app is exceptionally well designed, with a clean, intuitive UI that makes investing feel simple without compromising on functionality. I particularly love features like Pies, which make it incredibly easy to build and manage a diversified portfolio, as well as the clear and well-presented performance metrics. It’s easy to understand how your investments are performing at a glance, which is something many other platforms struggle to get right. The fees are also very competitive, making Trading 212 particularly attractive for long-term investors. The combination of low costs, excellent functionality, interests paid daily on uninvested cash and a genuinely user-friendly experience makes it the best investing platforms I’ve used. Overall, a fantastic app that keeps adding useful features while remaining incredibly easy to use. Highly recommended for both beginners and more experienced investors.

I love it

I love it, watching the interest being added every day, being able to take money out when short abd putting as much as you can in when ever you want. I find it good to help my self be careful with money. I tell everybody how good it is.

Good Shares ISA

Have used a zero fee competitor. Trading 212 beats them for speed of deposits and withdrawals. They also charge a lower fee for currency conversions. Transfer in of a cash ISA was efficiently handled. Make sure you use instant bank transfers, rather than cards or ApplePay for deposits. Cards work fine until you exceed a lifetime total deposit of £2000 (after which they have a 0.7% fee).

Great for nervous newbie investors

I have been very pleasantly surprised at the good selection of ETF’s and company shares available on this platform. Armed with a little information gleaned from you tube videos I found the site simple to navigate and the purchasing tools very easy and intuitive. I can place an instruction to sell or purchase at a particular price point which I really like. I can track prices on my own investments and also monitor other potential investments. My only regret is that I didn’t sign up sooner.

Fantastic investment platform

Fantastic platform for the passive investor or active stock picker. Low fees, easy to use app and plenty of account options. Would love to see Junior ISAs/Junior SIPPs at some point. I’ve been using Trading 212 for a couple of years now and would thoroughly recommend them!
